hi all thanks for the support, ed is slow with his hands and feet but can still wack, the game plan was to never trade with him and never let my feet set, by never letting ed corner me i reduced him to plodding after me winging big but predictable shots, i was a fan of ed growing up and he tried a few tricks to throw me off my game plan but i didnt fall for them and kept boxing even though the old brawler in me felt i could take him out if i stepped it up.
Good to hear you're thinking in the ring as well mate. A sure sign that you're progressing, if there's ever one. I know you're probably still stoked after getting the best W of your career, but I've gotta ask it... what's next?
nothing definite yet, but i know it will be leading to some similar or bigger fights, keep you posted
Fantastic news mate. I hope you still pace yourself. Only young for a Heavy. All the hard work you're putting in is paying off. Hope you get a gig on Fox Sports soon.
:good Awesome win... Shutting out a much more experienced fighter. Would be great if someone put the fight up to have a look at. He has been in there with some of the best as well, so at least it gives you a measuring stick in some ways, as to how well you could hold yourself against these guys at this stage of your career. Did you learn anything from the fight?
mstr, i learnt to stick to a game plan and use my skill, i tend to favour a brawl even when it is not the smartest option
