He's cool. His love for Fury, I understand. His love for Khan is a mystery, though.

Does any organisation really have that rule because it’s would be strange, financially at least if they do? Why would you want to disadvantaged you own organisation by having your title fight sanctioning fees split 4 ways plus having your own organisation’s top ranked mandatory challenger wait a year or two before the sole champion gets round to him?

I know the WBC does, and I think the WBA as well (hold-overs from the two-belt days, from what I understand). Not sure about WBO or IBF.

You may be right about the WBC and the WBC but I don’t know if it’s something that really set in stone or whether they were just giving good sound bites when interviewed and asked about this? Maybe I’m just a bit cynical about it all because they seemed to be more intent on creating more ‘world’ title holders than ever at the moment, even multiple ‘champions’ in the same weight classes. The likes of Franchise champions, diamond belt holders, super and regular champions, interim champions even though there may already be an existing champion in place, etc.

this guy is protected golden goose bodybuilder. Hometown fighter.

He should fight with Usyk, Fury, with Wilder and Ruiz III fight, then vs Parker in New Zealand ( hometown kid's fight in U.K vs Parker was laughable hometown stuff ).
If he will beat these all, then he might look that is good.

old Pulev and very big problems with panda doesn't convince that he is champ.

My personal preference for Joshua would be: 1- AJ-Fury, 2- AJ-Ruiz 3, 3-AJ-Wilder and 4- AJ- Usyk. I would obviously enjoy AJ-Usyk because I love any top HW matchup, but I just think the other 3 would be much more entertaining scraps. Plus, for me the only way for a HW title fight to end is with someone in a heap on the canvas.

I think Ruiz deserves a rubber match and If Andy is actually training, actually doing serious S&C work and working with a nutritionist, he is going to be a nightmare. If he really puts in the work and stays in the 250's, sheds a little fat, puts on a little muscle, and improves his foot speed and explosiveness....look the **** out!!! But those are all very big if's. I'm really pulling for Andy. He's a good dude and a terrific fighter.

He's already beaten Hunter. That counts.

Ray Austin was IBF mandatory challenger, Leapai and Chambers were WBO mandatory challengers. Brock was undefeated guy top of the rankings. Rahman got shot cause IBF mandatory (Povetkin) was injured and Rahman was leading contender that agreed the terms, so it also counted as IBF mandatory. Mormec and Pianetta were disappointing defenses thought

    Chuck the belt.

AJ vs Fury should be next.

    - Austin was IBF mandatory.
    - Rahman was another IBF mandatory, and quite a bit younger than Wlad's brother Vitali, the WBC champ.
    - Chambers was highly regarded at the time, and was the WBO mandatory after defeating Dimitrenko.
    - Brock was 32-0 and ranked near the top of the IBF ratings.
    - Leapai was WBO mandatory (shouldn't have been though).
    - Pianeta was undefeated at the time, and others had turned down the fight with Wladimir.

The only one that is questionable is faded and small Mormeck. He was a poor choice, I'm not sure why Klitschko fought him.

    Pianeta was an awful fight.
