    With the NHL lockout ongoing, TSN was probably looking for something else to air to fill the time slot. I'm pretty happy about this.

    Exactly-plus they hope to build up new subscribers for TSN 2.This is not a long term deal with Showtime and they won't show these fights on regular TSN.
    The Sat.Dec 1 date was to have been an NHL date.

    TSN used to carry the Friday Night Fights (usually on delay), but they haven't done that for at least a year. #'s must not have been very good. Maybe these 2 fights are trial runs to see how carrying live fights will do before commiting long term.

    Can always hope.

    Ijust checked the scedhule.. the AK fight is not on Dec 15...
