There are no powerful russian promoters out there.There are some russian oligarchs who like boxing and organise some fight cards in Russia.They have money,and Andrej Ryabinsky is the one who truly spends big bucks on his favourite hobby.
However,most of them have no clue about the world of pro boxing outside Russia and to call them powerful promoters is sadly a bit hilarious.Sure,money is the name of this game.Money can move a lot of things, but to be a powerful promoter in the pro game you have to have more than just money.
Sadly,the game is still dominated by American,German,British and Japanese promoters.
