LOL! On a serious note though, can you imagine if Ricky is nearing to be 60lbs above 140lbs? That's just absurd. I mean, when he embarks on trainign camp, the first few weeks must be pure hell for him. It must be agony with all the extra weight!
Not really, he just has a longer camp than most fighters - around 14 weeks. It's the last three or four lbs that are the hardest, he makes 150lb very easily, and gets down below 145 without difficulty as well. If his legs have gone though as a result of this latest binge and long layoff, he's ****ed.
who will be Hatton's trainer? i'm sure it won't be Mayweather Sr. and not likely to be Billy Graham again.
Most likely lee beard...he actually did more of the training for the pac fight then Floyd Joy did. Lee isn't really a good choice, but hatton is comfortable with him...
Give marquez a break..... The dude has fought the best in the divisons he fought in. Marquez is the sole boxer right now who I think deserves a big payday and retire with a healthy body intact. Win or lose, I hope marquez makes a **** load of money.
You know that you don't believe any of the NONSENSE you just wrote. All the fighters are 135-140lbs that fight purely on aggression, pressure and THE TYPICAL HISPANIC "HIT n' GET HIT" style will all end up fighting each other. JMM KHAN (Maybe a little "spark" to his style...but still one dimensional. ORTIZ MAIDANA KATSIDIS (not hispanic...but same ****...Continent) MIKE ALVEREZ ROLANDO REYES ANTONIO DEMARCO EDWIN VALERO While the fighters with PURE SKILL, that can Box, Move, Ring IQ, Jab, Combinations and can avoid being hit...Will all have to fight each other. Bradley just went through Junior Witter, Edner Cherry, Nate Campbell and Lamont Peterson. Couldn't get a fight with JMM, Hatton, Maidana, Khan, Ortiz...AND BRADLEY IS A LEGITIMATE TITLE HOLDER....DAMN:-( Also at 135-140lbs who will be avoided: Devon Alexander Also an UDEFEATED title Holder. Anthony and Lamont Peterson. Two HOT Talented Prospects Hylon Williams and Lenard Lane. But like in all sports..there are certain things that are just...A GIVEN: Kobe will shoot it, Lebron will dunk it, Yankees will win it...And Certain fighters will ALWAYS avoid certain STYLES!!!!
I bet half of more of your posts are talking about other posts themselves. STFU about other people, you're not a mod. stop bitching... I hardly come around here but when I see your avatar I just sigh.
Who the **** are you? If you dont like my posts just put me on ignore and stop crying like a *****. Have a nice day.
There's your problem. you think you're somebody around here. I'm just a fan, like yourself. but honestly .. the ignore feature is ******ed cause I'll still see people bitching about you. Just stop bitching about posts and the forum will be a better place. also, I know this post is a tad bit ironic but I promise you this is the only poster i'd ever ***** about actually posting.
This fight is all about Golden Boy paying Marquez back for the Floyd fight. It was probably agreed even before Marquez even fought Mayweather. Thats why he went along with it knowing he would lose. Cash-out fight for both guys.
Nonsense? Oh, the irony..after you spew this bull**** here. Basically what you're telling me is that all of the "slick" fighters at junior welterweight and lightweight, who just so happen to be all black roll, will be avoided like the plague, due to their so called "pure skill" and wins over moderate competition? Yeah, that makes sense...because I'm sure Juan Manuel Marquez isn't capable of defeating the Edner Cherrys, Lamont Petersons, and Junior Witters of the world. If you think Marquez is a fighter who fights gets by on aggression and pressure with the typical hit and get hit style, you obviously know very little about the sport. Marquez is a highly skilled technician who has fought Manny Pacquiao 2x, Juan Diaz, Joel Casamayor, Marco Antonio Barrera, Rocky Juarez, Chris John, Freddie Norwood, and even went up two weight divisions to fight Floyd Mayweather. I'm sure the thought of a fight with Bradley or Alexander sends chills up his spine. **** outta here.
Should be an interesting fight, hattons had a hard time of it recenty but he has had some good wins in the past so i hope he does alrite in this one
