If you have the time to take the train to city hall, go to church street. its cleaner, it does not have as many fighters as gleasons but you can accomplish your goal there.

At gleasons, i always felt like i was in the ghetto which might make for a good boxing setting in terms of mental toughness, but i personally could not be around all the derelicts running around. Not every fighter has to be from the hood.

A Funny story about Gleason's,The first time I went to the place i was having trouble finding it .I stop the mailman and ask if he knows were it is . "no man I never heard of it ".I was a block from the place and he delivers the mail there. Arrrrrr. I leave my wife and kids at an Italian restaurant while i go to the gym . they see a car chase and the cops pin three guys in the gutter with guns to there head. All before noon. LOL
