I ordered this book off of amazon a few months ago.. Its actually kind of a neat book, and has some nice tips that I think are valid. If you haven't seen it, you may want to check it out. Its called " the new rules of lifting." There is also one for women called " the new rules of lifting for women."

topless guy doing dumbell lunges with around 15lbs on the cover?
    I'll give it a miss.
I judge books by their cover.

And lifting for women should not be so different, but why not make a book with a different title and make uneducated people buy TWO crap books?

it does teach some of the basic movements, but its program design is meant to stear people away from the traditional body building style of lifting that so many people fall into the trap of doing, ( not that there's anything wrong with that ). It has a nice program design template and focuses on exercising multiple body parts in a single workout, rather than emphasizing one group - which isn't really a new concept, but they've doctored it up a little. Not a bad read and isn't as dry as some of the other books that are out there.
