Been a while since I posted, huh? Who are some fighters who aren't necessarily good at taking punches, but can recover quickly from being hurt?
Ruben Olivares could bounce back well... climbed off the deck the outbox Art Hafey, who had knocked him out in their first bout. Should be mentioned Olivares was a bantamweight up at featherweight for this. This content is protected
He rallied after being knocked down twice in a fifteen round war against Bazooka, to win and put Limon on the deck himself! The stuff legends and their fights are made of. You can't convince modern boxing fans what they're missing!
In my time of actually watching boxing I’ll have to say Juan Manuel Marquez is the first that comes to mind. That guy has been dropped on numerous occasions and taken so many big punches. Yet he’s still rallies back in almost every fight and finish on his feet still fighting like it’s the first couple of rounds.
Floyd didnt have the best chin but always responded. Was hurt against Judah, Maidana, Mosley, and Corley but responded w fire each time ONCE he had chance to recover. Lomachenko been hurt before but always responded well. Same can be said of Erik Morales and Marcos Maidana as well as Ruslan Provodnikov

Holmes had an objectively good chin and post-exile Ali had an objectively great chin. Neither really belongs in this discussion. This is about guys who get dropped all the time but recover and win anyway.
Odom recovering here was like Montiel getting up against Donaire. Baffling they got to their feet at all. This content is protected
