http://www.skysports.com/opinion/story/0,25212,13841_6164264,00.html? I totally agree with the quote below. "Almost as quickly as the journey began, it suddenly looked almost finished. I still maintain that both of Ryan Rhodes's big opportunities came a) too soon and b) at the wrong weight. He's still making 11 stone over a decade later!"
That's a good article, but I just read Jim Watt' article and came across this: I think he's getting old. atsch
Well after the asswhoopin he took off Martinez, i wouldnt be surprised if he'd changed his name. New weight dvision, new attitude, new name, now he just needs to get a new trainer, and he'd be ready to go. "Double the jab" :bbb
great interview ryans in great shape i think hes gunna do a number on messi ryan hits like a fukking mule at light middle trust me!!
Good article, I absolutely love Ryan Rhodes (no homo)...I'm off to this one so lets hope he puts in a decent performance.
That really was a great article. Why did he take those fights at 160? Was it a case of it being too good an opportunity to turn down? Anyway, come on Ryan tonight. Be great to see him get that one last world title shot.:bbb
he took the fights simply because of thats the weight the opportunity came at if u ask any fighter would they move up a weight to fight for a world title theres only 1 answer hope he can get a shot at light middle against any of them he would have a good chance imo beeston i never played with scott kerr at hull mate think he was after my time there
Great article, cheers Gaz. Come on tonight Rocky Ryan! Really hope he gets another go at the big time, would be just desserts for a cracking fighter
Gutted that i'm gonna miss this fight tonight (thanks to the Mrs), would've gone over to Sheffield for it if I could, but gonna avoid the result and watch it Saturday - I think Rhodes will stop him 7th-9th.
Moving up to 160 to get the title shot against Grant was the right thing to do but after he lost he should have gone straight back down to 154 instead of fighting all those years as middleweight.
