Holyfield pointed toward Bowe, as if he thought Bowe won, when the score cards were being announced after their first fight. Holyfield went on to say he was robbed, and should have been given the decision over Bowe.

Chavez said he would never fight a southpaw again after the Whitaker fight. He also quit on his stool against Oscar, and called Larry Merchant a liar when made reference to his actions.

    Never knew Evander did that.

I saw the clip of Chavez bitching out Larry on youtube once, I should watch that again.

Anyway, I have to name Thomas Hearns to this list. Gracious after every loss, never claimed he was robbed or said anything bad about his opponent. Just a class act

Yes, Evander even went on to say which rounds he won vs Bowe. Tabbing himself a 6-5-1 winner.

    Chavez: disgraceful loser. :-(

Holyfield rarely disrespects his opponents, but he's the king of having ailments whenever he has a disappointing performance. Not to mention he claimed to win both Lewis fights.

I don't know about that. De La Hoya threatened to launch an investigation after losing to Mosley.

Mosley talked about how Forrest learned to headbutt him effectively in the Georgia gyms with Holyfield and that changed everything in round 2. He also claimed that he had Winky "holding on for dear life" in the rematch and that he won that fight, as well as the rematch with Forrest.

Diego Corrales was pretty gracious, refusing to talk about the weight situation in the Castillo rematch even when Castillo's team was caught trying to manipulate the scales.

Naseem Hamed, surprisingly, was gracious after losing to Marco Antonio Barrera.

Tommy Hearns was classy in defeat

Kostya Zoo (can't for the life of me spell it properly) was a gracious as a loser could be against Ricky Hatton. A real gentleman.

Bowe was a good sport too. Rememer him rubbing Evander's bald spot and apologising for saying it would be an easy fight? (The 2nd fight) Class.

Come to think of it, Jameel McCline was a good sport after losing to Calvin Brock.
He lost by decision, and when asked in the post-fight interview about it, he said "Good decision." I was impressed by that.

    Yeah. Lacy was gracious too.

Agreed with both. It was surprising that someone who could do the things that Bowe did would be so gracious in defeat.

Bowe lost his title on a razor-thin decision, in a fight that was delayed when some idiot crashed down when Bowe was having a good round, and his wife was carried out of the ring on a stretcher.

Many fighters would justifably complain, but Bowe didn't.

Riddick Bowe acted like a classless thug a lot of the time.

Holyfield always has excuses. His autobiography I think he gives full credit to Bowe for beating him the first time, and he admits that Lewis 1 was a bad decision. But at times he was saying other stuff.

Mike Tyson was gracious in defeat against Holyfield the first time but before the second fight he was already making excuses and letting other assholes in his entourage say shitty things. And then the bite ! No way anyone in their right mind would call Tyson a good sport or a gentleman.

Lennox Lewis was a sore loser, and often classless in victory. His post-fight rantings and attitude after the Vitali fight were especially embarrassing. A big chip on his shoulder, a bit like Larry Holmes. At least Lewis seems a lot nicer now he's no longer fighting, or so far at least, whereas old man Holmes is same as he ever was.

Marciano was very gracious in defeat.:p

    Arguello was always great.

Tyson was very humble after Lewis in the dressing room, I guess you have to beat the **** out of him to make him act civil.

    Louis took defeat great.

Oscar Larios was really classy after losing his third fight with Vasquez
