Froch is the luckiest mother****er alive.

    Dirrell, Taylor and now Groves.

He is slow and clumsy but his chin has propelled him to the level he is at.

The stoppage was premature yeah, there was a minute and 30 seconds left in the round though and it's likely Froch would have gotten the job. But that said, Groves should have been given the chance to ride it out, if he took another 2-4 shots then jump in.

i lost alot of respect for groves after the way he was talking and acting in the build up. I was rooting for Froch to KO him, but actually, I was really surprised by his gameplan, and his heart.
He was hurt during the stoppage, but the fight should of carried on, bad stoppage. He says it perfectly himself in a post interview, "The fight was stopped because of my unjustified "shaky chin" the referee bought into the hype of Carl Froch".
Saying this, I do believe Froch's durability was starting to outdo Groves', I hate to say it, but this fight reminds me of Lewis vs Klitschko!!!

Also watched it again. Bad stoppage, Groves still had his wits about him. He was trying to evade shots and he didn't really turn away. He turned side on trying to duck and hold and the ref just grabbed him by the head. Froch was struggling to land cleanly with real power because he was also very tired so I think he might have put Groves down but I down he could land a real KO punch to put him down for the count. He was too tired, sloppy and inaccurate and Groves was still moving, blocking and holding.

groves was winning the fight, but it was still competitive. Carl froch busted him up pretty bad that round. His faces started to mark badly when the ref stopped the fight. I also agree groves legs were gone. Better safe than sorry, we all know what happened to magomed.

As good as Groves was the fight was entering the 'championship' rounds where Froch was coming on strong, if the ref didn't stop the fight it was only a matter of time before Groves ending in this fight would have came off a lot worse.

If that was gonna happen to anyone, it was Froch. He took big, flush power shots round after round. Plus the accumulative effect from all his previous wars.

F#ck off Froch fans, your man got a gift stoppage ! Gorgeous George handled him comfortably. :hi:

Following your logic, the ref should have stopped it after the 1st rnd KD.
