One of the smartest moves by Joe today was not to listen to Enzo!

    "Joe, are you with me!?"

Enzo actually thought they'd lost the fight.

Enzo saw Calslappy get rocked twice, KD'd once and probably thought the judges werent scoring Calslappies punches since they were largely pitter pats.

Yeah as if Hopkins was really throwing murderous punches after the third round.

A few straight right leads cleanly landed. Calslappy landed a few left leads. But overall in an uneventful fight, the KD and the wobble is what people remember.

No I think we all remember Bhops being negative for most the fight, hugging JC as often as he could and not doing any work on the inside when he had a chance.

At the end of the day Bhops was exposed as a boring spoiling cheat. That low blow was more in line with Bhops waist, unless he has huge lymphodema type testicles there is no way that punch hurt him.

This will hurt Calzaghe in the eyes of American fight fans the same way the Collazo fight hurt Hatton. Calzaghe needs to go out and bust up someone immediatly before Hopkins starts talking, and the analysts start debating.

Its not the corners job to call a fight accurately.

Its their job to motivate and advise. Telling Joe he is losing when its close falls under the heading of motivation.

Sillyness. Hopkins cemented his legacy as a legend in boxing. He took a 25 year old fighter, a top 10 p4p, the best supermiddle in the world, to the limit. Calzaghe was gashed and knocked on his ass. People respect Hopkins, he is a dirty fighter, and they love him for it. The wily old man, giving younger fighters all they can handle. Hopkins will go down far more favorably in the end the Calzaghe.

Since when has JC been 25 ? Unless he has bought a time machine he is 36 years old so no spring chicken himself.

Bollacks did Bhops cement his legacy, all he did was confirm he is a negative spoiler who likes to fight dirty (similar to what RJJ said about him). Beating blown up lightweights does not help cement legacies.

Its late and im making typos.

Anyways listen to he post fight commentary, it DID cement his legacy. I will be proven right in the coming days when the fight is broken down better. People will see a rather boring fight, not many clean punches landed but the KD and the wobble. Nobody is denying Hopkins isnt a dirty, cagey fighter. So what. This is chess not checkers. Hopkins is the master. If RJJ had instituted more boxing smarts into his natural talents, he'd be winning major belts in his 40's instead of getting knocked out cold.

Thats the next propaganda strategy from the Bhop shills, JC is not the claimed 36 but actually 25. So he beat Eubanks when he was 14.
