Thats why RJJ is going down as an ATG, Bhops will never be in the same class as RJJ. All down to Bhops for clinching and hugging for most the fight that there were not many clean punches.

If its not checkers its also not a wrestling match or a ring marathon. All Bhops ever does is hold and run round the ring. Boring as watching paint dry. All the greats in boxing had that X factor about them. Bhops has always lacked this hence why he has no legacy.

  ATG Hopkins is a legend. As he was being called throughout beginning and end of the fight. Not many clean punches he knocked your boy on his ass didnt he? Gashed his face. Made his legs like noodles? What did Calzaghe do? Hopkins a 43 year old looked like he could go another 12. In the 11th punched your boy off him and told him to BRING IT ON. How dont you see it as a classic performance is beyond me. Hopkins clearly while losing showed your boy up.

Thats called ring generalship son. Thats called a 43 year old fighter legend doing everything he can to win against a fighter much younger and faster. As Calzaghe said he could never pin Hopkins down. Maybe you should learn the finer points of boxing. Which is to hit and not get hit. Just because in the 12th your boy is throwing slaps and Hopkins is easily ducking out the way of him, dont be mad, thats what legends do,.

Bhop is not a great. Please tell everyone right now, you dont think, the guy who beat, De La Hoya, Winky Wright, Glen Johnson, Antonio Tarver is great?

Negative crappy boxing from Bhops has never impresed me. You can be his shill and pretend he is this awesome enigma but we all know that the true greats were always ready to go toe to toe and not run around the ring (and clinch) for 12 rounds.

Its not generalship, its called being 100% negative and a ducker. Boxing is not about running around the ring like a 5 year old running home as they need to urinate urgently.

ODH.. ...any half decet MW could do a number of a lightweight. Strum did it.

We all dont know. Only you are making this argument. As i've said he was being called a legend before the fight and will be called a legend after. Did it offend your sensibilites lol when he knocked your boy on his ass? what did holding and running have to do with that? What did the gash on Calzaghes face have to do with "crappy boxing" as you put it?

sorry most people who know boxing call it exactly that. Hopkins has never ducked anyone, He's 43 and still taking on the best. You just sound like a total moron right now whos ashamed one of his favorite fighters got put on his ass and made to look average tonight against an old man past his prime.

Oscar hasnt been a lightweight in a decade. Hopkins has always been a middleweight. What are you blabbering about? Glen Johnson and Tarver are natural lightheavyweights.

Thats because he was right. Enzo imo is horribly unprofessional and simply a hot head. Joes work was sloppy, terrible to watch, he was being hit with the far cleaner punches all night and yet one judge scored it 116-111? Was Hopkins not even there?

The flash KD was just that. Great shot, well taken, forced backward while off balance by the approaching Hopkins. Didn't see any more 'rocking'. As for the big gash??? A graze across his damn nose! Winky's eye was gashed.

Haters like you will never give any respect to any boxer from Europe. I knew this would happen before the first bell rang, regardless of the outcome. Most JC fans would admitted the better man won if that was the case.......but it wasn't.

Why should the undefeated, undisputed champion fight in his opponents back yard?

In the middle of the fight Calzaghe was rocked, and towards then end he was caught flush again. In the middle he came in with hsi usual flurry slaps that mean nothing, Bernard dodged them against the ropes and caught him clean and Calzaghe was wobbled and nearly fell over. Maybe you were watching a European broadcast but the American commentators talked about it for a good minute.

Most JC fans? Clearly you've never met MOST JC fans on this forum. He beat a 43 year old man. No more no less. You want to crown him an ATG because of his first big victory in a 15 year career, be my guess, nobody else will.
