    Hello lads,

Don't know much about the influx of small fighters into the UFC since the big merger. Would anyone be able to recommend me some old WEC events to look up, so I can get up to speed on who these new guys are?

    Cheers in advance

If you have Sky then watch Extreme channel. They re-run LOADS of WEC events. I've rewatched them all recently. I'm to number 46 I think.

To be honest the WEC didn't have many bad events I would definitely check out WEC 48 first though If you are after the big names.

    Carlos Condit vs. Hiromitsu Miura
    Yves Jabouin vs. Mark Hominick
Ben Henderson vs. Donald Cerrone 1
    Donald Cerrone vs. Rob McCullough
    Miguel Torres vs. Takeya Mizugaki
    Ivan Menjivar vs Brad Pickett

All amazing fights off the top of my head. WEC was a great organization, with probably the more consistently exciting fight cards.

All of them. WEC is, by far, the most exciting organization in the sport's short history.

I never, not once, watched an entire WEC card and walked away even slightly disappointed.

There are a couple WEC DVDs you can probably find out there one is the only WEC PPV WEC 48 with Jose Aldo vs Urijah Faber as the main event you also got Cerrone-Henderson II and alot of really good fights like that crazy first Garcia and Korean Zombie slugfest. Also there is like a best of the WEC which features Faber vs Jens Pulver I, Faber vs Mike Brown II, Hendo vs Cerrone I, Miguel Torres vs Mizugaki and Maeda all are incredible fights.
