Senchenko was one of the weakest title holders in boxing. I give Paulie credit for going over there and beating him, but he should beat guys like that. Its hard to say where he goes from here because hes still a top operator, just not against strong champions. the winner of Bailey-Jones could be interesting or maybe against the winner of the approaching super fights. I feel that the Welterweight division is pretty weak right now, despite the name fighters, and there are opportunities for Paulie. Either way 2 division champ, not bad for any fighter and he looked good in winning.

He was still a massive underdog.

Not many people were picking him.

He neded a stoppage to win, as he was down on the cards despite dominating.

I agree its a paper title. But i'm very happy for him. I look forward to him mixing with Aexander now or Berto/Ortiz.

Major size disadvantage to overcome for Paulie. I was surprised he was able to do it.

Once they go fighting it wasn't so drastic because Senchenko hunched over so much in his stance.

...yes, the WBA is a ****ing joke, but glad to see an American with a title...even if it is Paulie To Homo.

Yeah, i mean I more or less equate it to Arturo Gattis win over Thomas Damgaard. Exactly like that actually. He showed hes still competitive and better than that caliber of fighters, but like Gatti I think that may have been his last big win.

It was a good win and performance for Paulie. Let's leave it at that.

How he will fare in the division against the top dogs is a different question altogether.

It is good to see Paulie bring that title out of obscurity and bring it back to the mainstream

Senschenko did nothing with the belt, Paulie could perhaps unify with the Jones Baily winner

I do like the sudden Americans taking on int'l opponents

First Berto vs Zaveck now Paulie Senschenko
