I'm not really fussed where people rank Floyd(i.e. it can be #1 or it can be #3), but if people want to use his uncertain future participation in the sport to drop him a spot or two, I don't think that is unreasonable either.

It was tune up fight, it wasnt a great fight but I can admit it wasnt as bad as when Pac made Oscar come down to 145 when he hadnt fought anywhere near that weight for about 5 yrs! Oh but that doesnt matter right? Ok then!

Clottey fight was BS you and I know it he had no place being in the same ring as Pac man no one wanted that fight but you will try and claim otherwise! Pac balked at having his blood taken, you know like tonnes of other athletes do in tennis, athletics, cycling etc etc! People like to diss Money for taking Baldomir at least he had titles!

LOL aren't you choking on all the excuses coming out of your mouth! A true champion finds a way to win whatever the circumstances if he wanted his mind on the job then he simply had to say no to hand wraps and if I got caught with something like that I would be trying my hardest to win that fight so all my other fights arent called into question. So no I dont subscribe to the opinion that the events before the fight effected the outcome! shane was going to beat that ass whatever happend!

This isn't so ridiculous... Mayweather hasn't really done much in the past two years. Marquez doesn't count to me. I give him credit for the Mosley fight but it doesn't rate anywhere near Martinez's achievements.

P4P should be more fluid... positions should be based at least slightly on merit!!

    Don't try and rewrite history.

Oscar was the cash cow when that fight got made.

He called the shots against Pacquiao and the fascinating thing is how the **** Oscar was so stupid to not only come in so light, but then unable to do hardly any "rehydration".

So yeah, the Oscar/Pac fight doesn't matter.

Where do you see me saying it was a great fight?

The interest in the fight lay in Clottey giving Cotto and Margo a hard time and people not knowing how well Manny was going to do at 147 against a big welterweight. Coming into the fight, Clottey's recent performances indicated he was worthy of being in the same ring, but **** me did Clottey stink out the house that night.

It ain't the norm in boxing, Mayweather doesn't set the rules and get the psychological edge and there aren't any peds Pac could have used and benefitted from and not been detected, with a 14 day cutoff and testing immediately after the fight.

It takes a special kind of denial to rationalise the above as anything other than either Floyd chickening out or overplaying his hand in the negotiating stakes and being left with only his dick in his hand.

We will never really know, but my theory looks a lot better than yours when we see how **** Mosley was against Mora.

Either Floyd fights a normal fight vs a prime fighter in the P4P list either Martinez or Manny or he should be taken off the list for good.
Enough is enough. Martinez is 154 perfect for Floyd since he won't fight Manny. He needs to fight either one by 2011. if he remains silent by Dec 31 as of Jan 1 at the latest he can't be talked about as a current P4P top 3.

LOL at these P4P lists. P4P list is so subjective.
There is no doubt Pacman and Martinez are the kings at this moment.

Who said anything about being the cash cow? The fact is the fight was at the wrong weight for Oscar just like it was at the wrong weight for Marquez. Just like when PBF fought Oscar he went up to 154 (didnt actually get there) but he went nonetheless and made it work for him! No one is claiming Marquez was a great fight for PBF but everyone is shouting and hollering at Manny vs Oscar! LOL!

Apprently Oscar wasnt able to redhydrate due to the contract, but Im not certain of this.

Mate there was No interest whatsoever in the Clottey fight you can stop that right there! I actually like Clottey and I know for a fact no one EVER mentioned him and Pac in the same sentance, you just swallowing the B.S that d1ck Arum sppon fed you!

He had his big chance with Cotto and couldnt take it! He didnt deserve his chance and he made sure he proved people like me right and has been in hiding ever since!

Listen blood testing is required in tennis, TENNIS for crying out loud! You know damn well it is required for boxing! Look how many baseball players were using steroids almost no one got caught? It wasn't the norm when Mike Tyson asked for it, Holyfield signed up for it and we had a fight!

Im a Manny fan but the hypocrisy is crazy you would think he is the messiah!

Nah I am not a *******. I am a fan of Boxing first. My hate for Mayweather is justified as he does nothing for the sport. And based on the many pm's I get thanking me for my posts telling the truth i don't appreciate saying my opinion is not taken seriously.
