Hey funny how Tony has gone quiet once we mention Joshua’s or his real name (Oluwafemi Olaseni) political opinions. AJ is really into some wierd stuff.

“Superior race” “Robert Mugabe” “being programmed by the media”. I still have a bitter taste in my mouth of how the media went into shutdown about those things and ironically tried to scapegoat Tyson Fury.

Tony Hayers has probably shi* his pants and gone back running to Matchroom HQ, to come back with the generic response of “he was hacked” “he’s had problems with his social media accounts”

Come on Tony what’s the excuse ?
Because You know Joshua is such a nice gentleman, a real humble guy, isn’t he ?

Is there any sport in the world that can cover travellers, gays, trans and Robert mugabe in the same conversation? “I love this game”

True story but back in 2003 I was in a stand up comedy competition in Covent Garden, I entered it mainly because of my mates. I did ok and got a few laughs anyway up walks Greg Davies who nobody knew at the time, he smashed it!!! I had a really sore face from laughing at the time.

He squared up to my mate for a laugh who’s 6’7 and he’s not far off so I reckon he’ll do the same with AJ tonight

We doing an RBR for this? Seen the preview clips, fair play Tony Dosh, that’s a mad suit he’s wearing.

Tony clearly demanding a big fee, we’re only getting big AJ out for the main event. Solid undercard though topped by Dench. Not gonna lie I’d beat that after a few JDs.

I started back in 2003, still going strong 16 years later. Worked with Greg Davies a few times before fame came his way, he’s a thoroughly nice bloke.

Well said - although I noticed you didn’t get many likes - maybe it’s because if you like the pro gay comment, it means you’re gay ... football football (!)

Oh nice one! I gave it another go back in 2014, did about two gigs (walk ins) a week mostly around central London for about 6 months, met some strange people, entered a few competitions and even made it to the final of one. I wrote some good jokes, mainly one liners but gave up in the end because 1 I couldn’t keep coming up with new material and 2 I moved house.

Fair play for giving it another go bud, it’s very rewarding and addictive. It is full of strange folk, especially at the new act nights. I did them for a few years but the paid work came in trickling in until eventually I could go full time. The buzz you get when a new gag works is amazing.
