You'd better scrape up alot of change then, because Shane's not going to take that fight for less than the GDP of a small country. I'd love to see it- I think Paul wins. I still don't know why Shane's ranked so much higher on current P4P lists than PW by alot of people, to be honest. As it stands, Dzinziruk's more likely- he's more willing, has a lower price tag, and offers a chance for Paul to unify against a skilled, unbeaten southpaw without cutting the extra weight to go down to WW. Can't go wrong with either fight.
Shane can get better and bigger fights than against Paul Williams, looks like it'll be Dzinziruk or another beltholder.
Correction: Shane can run, duck, and cherry pick his way to fighting Pac, but he wants no part of the best guy in WW right now. Why can't you people see the obvious?
I think deep down, Shane knows the financial reward of fighting Paul Williams isn't worth ending his career with a loss for. Better to hold out hopes for a megafight with Pac, who would be an easier fight for alot more $$$. :yep Not that I'm complaining- Shane-Pac and Williams-Dzinziruk are badass fights regardless, if that's how it goes down. :thumbsup
Spinks is just the type of fighter he should avoid because he could give him fits with his movement and even if he won he wouldn't look good. Going after Dzinziruk is the smarter move.
I disagree, Spinks is older now and can't move as much as he use too. That's why his fight with Latimore was decent. Spinks had to stay in the pocket more then he is use to, plus he realizes he was using too much energy running around the ring like that. P-dub would walk over spinks imo.
