    Who the **** is Pavlik besides a great white hope from middle America who beat up on Jermain "no stamina" Taylor???? He brings a few hicks from Ohio to Atlantic City, and everyone thinks he's Oscar now! PPV buys for this guy ain't much better than Paul, Winky, or anyone else. Al ittle better, but not much.



    By the way, he got his ass beat down the last time out, and has been on milk cartons ever since. Besides, I already know you don't like Williams, but goddamn son, don't let that get in the way of common sense!!!

    I agree with booradley here that Pavlik should get the 60/40 purse split.

    But being that Pavlik stock as a fighter has dropped somewhat since his loss to Hopkins and his less than stellar performance against Marco Rubio, Pavlik could sacrifice and have the money be split in 55/45 so he can get a good fight and payday at the same time.

    Williams needs to get rid of Goosen if he is as good as he thinks he is. Goosen doesnt have confidence in Williams ability. Williams only good wins were a close fights with a sub bar ring rusty Tony Margarito. Margarito nearly beat him even then. Both Goosen & Williams sneered at a rematch request . Wonder why???? lol Then he beat another ring rusty fighter in Winky Wright. Pavlik got schooled by a living legend, Bernard Hopkins,
    no real shame in that. That 40/40 with the other 20% going to the winner sounds fair to me

    pavlik should tell williams camp 60/40, and 50/50 if williams wins.that should settle it.

    Think before you type ******. Ring rust? Why? Cause before facing Williams in july 07, Margarito last fought was december 06? Hey ******, before facing Margarito, Williams last fought was in november 06.

    I hope you guys are taking the time to click over to Boxing Scene.Com and read the article. Maybe I'm off base here, but my interpretation is that it was Goosen's attitude that pissed Arum off more than the idea of a 50/50 split.

    If I were handling William's I would keep him at 154 for ahwile. I think he is capable of clearing it out, and making the division "Paul's House." However, Ring Magazine has PWilly ranked #3 at 160 right now, and #10 P4P. I think that makes this a legitimate fight, and anything from 60/40 to 50/50 would be fair. The problem was that Goosen acted like he would be doing Arum/Pavlik a favor to let them have 50/50. That's not a smart way to approach The Bob Father.

    Goosen didnt do ****. Williams is the man right now, hes the one that has whooped fools form 3 different weight classes while Pavilk has been fighting cupcakes. 50-50 is fair to me, who else is Pavilk gonna fight??? Williams has many options, Pavilk doesnt
