Name the options then, cuz Pwilly wants a big money fight. Don't try and stick Mosely on the list, cuz Shane has openly nixed that one, so what big name is out there for PW?
ummm...3 different weight classes. and if nobody at 147 wants to fight him. he can fight Santos,Spinks,Segri,Sturm, I mean anybody from those 2 weight classes. Pavilk has no options at all
And these will bring the same money as Pavlik? Why would Sturm want to fight him? Let alone give him a big paycheck. HBO didn't offer much for Sturm/Pavlik. Again, Pwilly now thinks he is a big money fighter and wants the big dollars. I don't see those names bringing the same money as Pavlik.
I just read that Winky is an option for Pavilk on oct 3rd....HAHAHAHA. yeah just fight the guy Williams just beat 11-1!!! great Job Arum, accept the 50-50 already or feed Pavilk another cupcake.
Like I said already, who is Pavilk gonna fight then?? Sergio Martinez??? this is getting funnier by the day, Arum is a Puss.
Of course I'm not sure what Abraham will do after he drops out of the tournament. I do not think he belongs there. I've never completely bought into the "weight problems," and now that I've seen pictures of Abraham standing with Taylor, and others, I'm more convinced than ever that tha he is not an exceptionally large middleweight. He is very clearly smaller than JT. At this point my best guess is that long before the tournament is over Arthur Abraham will be back in Germany knocking out "C" level fighters.
All that Pavlik has proven up to this point is that he's not a PPV draw either. And it wasn't Goosen that killed the first deal, it was Al Haymon. Anyway, I'm inclined to agree that Pavlik should get a little more - he's still more of a draw than Williams - but it's not as big of a difference as Bob Arum would like people to believe. Arum has been very unsuccessful at expanding his popularity, and the more Pavlik opens his yap, the less likable he becomes.
Al Haymon. Is he the manager? I read an article by PW's manager that made the whole argument 'gel' for me. He decided there was more money available after the fight was agreed too. If you believe the people that pay the bills listen to all of this crap that goes on between fights you are seriously mistaken. Not only are they unaware of what Kelly is saying, I doubt they put the same spin on it that seems to be getting traction here on ESB. Just a bunch of keyboard warriors believing what they think matters to the rest of the world. Pathetic stuff really.
Yep -- it was Haymon. Back then Winky turned down more than Williams turned down, and then they fought each other for less money?
PAv is a *****, and not agreeing to fight 50-50 with a man who is naturally smaller than him shows us that PAv truly is a *****.
Williams should dump Goosen or Haymon whoever is screwing up PW. Williams is probably the most avoided Boxer right no, but a lot of it is because insane demands. It should be 55/45 Pavlik at least. Pavlik is the Middleweight champion, Williams comes up in weight to challenge him, he needs to take less.
