OK. Found an article about Haymon/Arum in regards to Mayweather on the site in your side bar, but it mentions the Williams fiasco. Funny how Pwilly's fan boys still claim it was Pavlik that ducked out of the fight even though someone close enough to Pavlik to know has reiteratted several times that Kelly was actually in training to fight Pdubya.

Problem here is you are going by the fights you want to see now. It will be up to Pdub to look back at his career and see what HE thought of how he was handled. And how is he going to decide? Probably like most others. What does he have in the bank.

Speaking of fights people want to see, there is a huge white elephant in the room, and no one has noticed him! We know exactly what the dollar amounts were for Pavlik/Sturm, we know what they were for Abraham/Sturm, and now we now something more about Pavlik/Williams. Somehow, oddly enough, Sauerland has never publicly stated any of the numbers for Pavlik/Abraham:think

    Pavlik would beat Sturm easily.

But Williams and Abraham beat Pavlik easily.

Pavlik isnt more known then williams, In fact one could argue that Williams is a much hotter fighter now..50/50 would be fair, besides Williams has more options then Pavlik:good

Williams was saying a while back that he would have beat Pavlik just like Hopkins did.

If he and Goosen were really that confident, they would have jumped at the chance to fight the lineal middleweight champ, instead they come up with this 50/50 BS. They know full well that Pavlik is already pissed of at getting pay cuts and would never take this offer.

Williams people don't want this fight, otherwise they'd have at least come up with a 55/45 offer.

Good for Pdub. Let him take those other options.

Yep. They know that the average fan will believe anything they want to believe. Witness ESB. :deal Try and hold a rational discussion with all the relevant know, verifiable facts and the same people put on their blinders, time and time again. I spent a few days away and will be spending more time away. Not much point in the repetition. Go away for a week and you come back to the same drivel......:-(

Williams didn't come up with 50/50 split. You need to stfu if you don't have any proof that Williams is one of those ppl that ask for 50/50 split. It's Goosen his promoter. Promoters are the ones that makes the offer, not the fighters. Is Goosen wrong for asking 50/50 split? In a way yes cause he should know Arum won't accept it and Pavlik the champ but in the same time Goosen has a point, Williams is not a draw but niether is Pavlik in which proofs his terrible ppv buys vs Taylor rematch and Hopkins. Also Williams has been on a row with 4 straight wins, 3 out of the 4 came by ko's. And Williams is the top 10 p4p in which right now Pavlik isn't.

And I know Paul and George Peterson well enouh to know that Paul was never scared of Pavlik. He had all intentions on fighting him. Neither Peterson nor Williams has any fear of fighting Pav.

Again, enough with the blind nutsucking of Bob Arum. When he kills Pavs career with this bull****, then you will see what a snake he is.

As of right now, you are no different than the Margarito nuthuggers who were so quick to believe everything Arum said about Goosen and Williams.

It's you. You are the silly fanboy. You are the one who keeps regurgitating this nonsense about Williams every chance you get. Sooner or later you will see why Williams is so quick to jump at Kelly Pavlik. It's because he knows he can beat him. You will see.

    Did I say he did?

Mr. Pot? You are the one that refuses to even attempt to be civil in these exchanges. Trying to make up for something perhaps? :think

Pdub isn't ready for Pavlik. I honestly believe Pavlik could seriously hurt the guy because of the natural weight difference.

i agree that the promotors are the ones who pull the strings and make the demands for the most part. and i agree that this was goosen and not pwilly. somehow tho, this logic gets lost when people hate on pav. somehow its all pav and not arum. pav wants martinez or pav wants mora or pav this pav that.
