If it's Peter then that fight will be very entertaining.

Toney isn't a former heavyweight world champion unless you consider the NABO title a major one out of desperation.

He did win WBA heavyweight title, so one could call him former Heavyweight champion.

Also he didnt say it is against former heavyweight champion.

I think that is implied though. It won't be Toney or Haye.

I think it will be Brewster, Liakhovich, or Maskaev.

HBO is not going to approve Shannon Briggs, Mercer, McCall or the other fighters being mentioned.

Do you watch Boxing? Ruiz has only 2 KO's this entire DECADE! The guy has no power and no skills.

I am hoping for Briggs, but I bet it'll be Toney,

But either would beat Arreola.........TOney would, especailly easily.

Arreola is HBO's new golden child. They are not going to put Briggs on TV his fights are too boring.

If I had to bet on it I would say Maskaev. From a WBC point of view it makes sense. They tried to force Vitali to fight Maskaev which was overturned. Arreola is the WBC #1 contender so I bet the WBC will make an Arreola/Maskaev fight be a final eliminator. Thyis would satisfy Team Maskaev and he is an easy touch for Goosen and Arreola.

I hope it's either Peter or Brewster. Guys with chins and very heavy hands. If it turns into a war, Arreola could be in big trouble. I think his chin is suspect against hard hitters like this. This would be a perfect opponent for Peter no matter his weight. Arreola will slug it out and Peter's chin and power become a huge asset especially if he lets Peter hit him in the face like he did against Walker :yep

Vitali is obviously going with the higher profile fight and Haye. There is nothing else out there.
