    I would like to see how Ward does against a physically strong fighter like Tavaris Cloud or a tall boxer like Campillo who wouldn't be weight drained like Dawson.

    Style wise some of us have said for a long time it would be a bad style match up for AA. I think we have seen evidence of this in the tourney. Look for AA to revert to nursing his title in Europe cuz he now knows he isn't in the top echelons of 168.

    I think ward easily beat cloud cause lets face it cloud is very overrated. Cloud reminds me of a prime jeff lacy in a way. Cloud got two gift decision against old fart out of shape glen johnson and campillo. Campillo vs Ward would be a better fight.

    Pavlik vs. AA is the fight to make. Two guys declined, with a lot of question marks, who can't move laterally and therefore would be in each other's punching range.

    Also, enough name appeal to bring a good payday for both. Ward would be a stupid fight for Pavlik and would end his aspirations as being a world class, marketable fighter.

    Froch, Ward and Dirrell are nowhere near as stiff, orthodox and predictable as Pavlik. His offense would land on Abraham's gloves all night long.

    If the Mighty Lujuan Simon could split AA's guard, Pavlik would make it look non existent within a few rounds of beating the **** out of AA's arms.

    While this is true, most likely Abraham would stay behind said gloves all night while Pavlik pushes him backwards with his jab and straight right. AA's size and style is perfect for Pavlik to look good against.

    I'm an AA fan, but I must say the above posts are in all likelihood pretty accurate. If AA doesn't KO Pavlik with a bomb it's pretty hard to see him coming out as the victor. His style obviously doesn't have much creativity in it and the whole team seems hopeless in trying to help him get past the taller/rangier fighters the SMW division offers (save Stieglitz who is only about 5'10).

    Pavlik could literally jab and right hand all night while occasionally landing hooks to the body and AA really wouldn't have too much of an answer as history has shown.

    If B-Hop turned Pavlik into an Alcoholic, Ward will turn him into a ****in' junkie.

    Ward will be a nightmare for Pavlik. Abraham would be a good fight.
