Goosen/Williams will back out of Pavlik fight, and then lie about it

Pavlik is considering it? Come on now...

Hes asking for it. Hes putting the Championship belt on the line. Hes saying come and get me. But what does PW's camp do? They ask for more money to the point that the fight never happens. Pure B.S.

 

Ah, terrible to see a career WW duck a MW! LOL I'd rather see PTP fight Mosley in his natural weight class but I like the Pavlik fight too. I can't imagine it won't be one or the other.

 

I don't believe either fighter is/ was/ or will ever be afraid to fight one another. It is unfortunate that this fight didn't take place.
As far as step aside money, I'm not sure either fighter could have generated enough money via pay per view or HBO to allow for this to occur. As far as the sanctioning bodies are concerned, they're all crooks and I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them. Suliman already tried to extort Kelly for his trunks after he won the title.

I won't put anybody on my ignore list even though some drive me crazy. It makes for good debate.

 

Only Pav dick-riders, or leftover bitter Margarito fans would think that Williams doesn't deserve any of the gate.


Pay the man what he is worth.

 

This is a capable ppv fight. With Goosen and Arum co promoting, this fight could get big. Goosen knows the deal, and is looking out for his fighter. This could be a career ender for Williams more than it is for Pav. There is always a risk when a smaller guy fights a bigger guy...even if the little guy is more talented. At least PW isn't asking for a catch weight lol...
