So here's the deal...this starts at 17:00 local time in Moscow, but whereas in the past Shamo always had their full cards on their YouTube page it appears they changed that a while ago. So, making this optimistically in the hopes something works out (and by some miracle Shamo either reverts to live-streaming on YT, or TriColor ends up no longer being geo-blocked)

The undercard began half an hour ago, but I'm not sure where that is being shown if anywhere. The main card is at 21:00 local time (1pm EST; in 3.5 hours) on TriColor.

Yury Sergeyevich Osipov vs. Rustam Vakhidovich Kerimov, 4 rounds @ super welterweight

 

Osipov is making his pro debut. Kerimov is 0-5 and has been stopped twice.

 

Body shot target practice, KO1 after two minutes of punishment.

 

Osipov is a good looking prospect based on all of two minutes' flight time in the pros. He was a busy amateur, won more than he lost (and mostly only lost when stepping up to international tourney competition). Strong body puncher. Keep an eye.

 

Pavel Vasiutovici vs. Yunus Abdulhakovich Akhmedov, 4 rounds @ super featherweight

 

Vasiutovici the skinny Moldovan lad in white is 1-0. Akhmedov in red, of Kazakh parentage, born in Tajikistan and now based in Moscow, is 0-2.

 

Good opener. Akhmedov spent a long time backing up but then got in a few nice overhands to gain some respect and show he wasn't toothless.

 

I've got 'em one apiece. This is heating up, the second half should be fun.

 

Vasiutovici KO3 on a delayed reaction to a body shot. Akhmedov got hit in some vital organ it seems...he tried playing it off like he got fouled, and then spent a minute wincing and puckering his face in a corner until the ref got tired of waiting and declared the contest over.
