Hojiev is another overmatched Tajik, facing a really absurd height disparity. Officially there's 4½″ listed between he and 6'2" Burakas, although I suspect the Russian is even taller or Hojiev even shorter than reported, because it looks like even more than that.

They come in with mirroring records, 1-0 and 0-1.

 

Burakas KO2, a result as inevitable as Thanos. You could tell within half a minute this didn't have a chance of even lasting 4rds.

Yevgeni something is the B-side, last name sounds like "Tershukov". Walking out second it sounds like Bebari Avenya?

Nobody listed has a first or last name anything like those.

 

Just read the waistband of the red corner dude's trunks - rear says "Abionyan", and front says "Gringo"...is that really his nickname?

edit: found him on BoxRec. Grigory Vahramovich "The Gringo" Abionyan, super middleweight, 2-0 (2), last fought in 2019. Checked what the dance partner sounded like phonetically on Google and yep, got a division match...he's Evgeny Sergeevich Tershukov, who is 0-14.

 

Abionyan has a decent stalking bob & weave, tight guard, and can switch-hit - but his bad habits include pecking with his shots and not really sitting down on them, waiting too much and giving Tershukov way more respect than his retreating posture warrants, and he barks amateurishly every time he throws a punch.

 

Urgh, guess this is a 6-rounder, as we are now into a 5th.

Really would prefer this one be 4 and over already; it hasn't been fun.

- Gringo throwing uppercuts, having it all his way but not ever making a dent or seeming to have Tershukov in trouble. Just ...lots of noise.

Another case where the listed heights can't possibly be accurate.

Either the Cameroonian southpaw is more than 5′ 8½″ or the Russian is less than 5′ 7½″ because there is well beyond an inch separating them.

 

Takam being very negative, lots of kowtowing away, then diving in to headbutt Dalkhaev in the belly and tie up.

Wonder if he's any relation to Carlos? Would be his older brother if anything (Carlos is 40, this Charlan is 41) ...and would be quite a steep gulf in talent within the family if so. "Lucky" has fought his entire pro career in Russia, going 1-11 and being stopped nine times.

 

Pretty sure Dalkhaev got butted in the junk a few times.

 

TKO1, oh thank goodness that mess was over. This wasn't making a good palate cleanser to follow Abionyan vs. Tershukov, so glad to be on with the business end of the card..

 

Alan Soslanovich Khugaev vs. Muzaffar Ravshan Ogli Rashidov, 8 rounds @ super welterweight

 

Khugaev has the red trunks and the Afro. Rashidov in the black with red trim, and he one that is obviously a few inches shorter despite the most hilariously incorrect listings yet (BoxRec has Rashidov at 5'9" and the clearly taller Khugaev at 5'7" )
