His last three fights are against a natural 140 lber at 154 and that fighter never fought at 54 The next fight was against a 135 lber who had experience fighting at 40 but he fought him at 150 in a fight i dont think Hoya really weigh in 150 His next fight is against a 135lber at 147(yea right more like 150 again) who never has fought at 40 or 47
I didn't mention those fights because the purpose of the post wasn't to discredit his work at the lower weights. I was pointing out the fact that DLH is by no means a "natural" 130 - 135 lb fighter considering the fact that even at 154, he was able to fight men SMALLER than himself. DLH was DAMNED good at cutting weight. I don't take away from his skill or heart. I'm not one of those guys that say DLH clearly lost to Tito. Tito is my favorite fighter, I've scored their fight several times, I always have DLH on top. I rooted for him against Bhop and Mayweather. I have no bias against the man. I just think this fight with Pac is horse****. p.s. I got into it with Scar in a thread about PBF like two days ago. If there's one thingI can't be accused of it's bias.
He was taller than Chavez but before Chavez fought PBf he had fought at 135 before which was higher than where pbf fought him. Manfredy never fought below 130 so how? Vargas came down to fight Floyd. Hernandez came down to fight Floyd also. Name them:deal
Typical spinning Most of the fighters he fought at 130 were not big enough to fight at higher divisions and they proved it, whereas PBF could easily move up thereby meaning he had the size advantage over a lot of them. Just admit you have no problems with double-standards and we'll leave it at that:hi:
What? So the fact that Pbf couldmave up and those guys couldnt they were smaller? Like 3 of those guys fought at a higher class than when pbf fought them. Just because they couldnt jump to 47(where pbf is small for the weight) because of lack of skill doesnt mean he was bigger than them at the time they fought. Epsically when the said fighter where at a higher weight previously to meeting pbf.
How clueless can a fanatic be, objectivity isnt even in his realm. Its damn scary how human beings can support a thing in spite of its ridiculousness and outright unfairness. This guy DLH wont fight a tough guy his own size but is willing to batter a little guy 3 divisons lower than him. I just cannot believe this.
I don't know what all the fuss about Oscar is. Oscar legacy is seal already no matter what happen. He fought all the best he could possibly fight during his time, don't you guys remember. Now is the time for him to enjoy some easy $$$. Oscar just didn't suddenly get paid big bucks to fight, he had to build himself up by keeping fighting the top and best opponent he could possibly fight, just like what Pac is doing now.
It seem like a million years since the Mayweather fight, and since that he has fought an abysmal fight against Forbes. I'm tired of hearing about Oscar he isn't doing any boxing...
Notice I didn't mention quality. I've knocked all of PBF's choices of fights at 147 + except for the Hatton (Hatton's best weight wasn't 147, but it wasn't PBF's either so that cancels out) and DLH fights. My point was SRL and PBF were naturally smaller guys fighting naturally bigger guys when they moved up in wieght. I find that to be a bigger accomplishment than a naturally bigger guy who could cut weight like nobody's business.
