Looks like a troll thread similar to the ones popping up in the lounge by new alts.

If it's true, forget the 250 and tell the "trainer" to **** off. He's a disgrace.

Completely your trainers fault, you should leave him, that gym and find somewhere else. If you've never boxed before, and had just 3 lessons, then that's terrible, it's not your fault, you were in with someone far more experienced. It took me 3 months before I sparred anyone, and I was only sparring complete novices like myself to start with, so neither of us were in any real danger. The step up between sparring a novice, and sparring a proper amateur is big and you'd need a lot more training than ten lessons before you should be sparring someone like that

Don't let it get you down, just find a different coach that will teach you at your pace, and not let you get hurt, the most important thing is being ready, you weren't ready to spar and he shouldn't have made you

Got pretty angry reading that. Your trainer is a piece of **** and an idiot. Never go back to him again.

    What he said.

Just come back from a great sparring session against a mixture of different styles and no one got hurt or was it overly aggressive, it was nice and controlled.

But this has pissed me off. What a major *****. **** him, get your money back.

Yeah they say trainers today ain't what they use to be. You see a great trainer like angelo dundee said he never wants his guys being banged up during sparring, muhammad ali never knocked out a guy in sparring, use to spar his brother all the time. Could you imagine what it'd be like if people were trying to knock each other out in sparring, there'd be no fights. Sparring is not about knocking out people and your trainer deserves to be punched.

I kinda learned boxing from a kid as my dad was a pro heavyweight boxer, infact I was boxing before I even had conscious awareness according to my parents I would go around the house and punch out everything as a toddler, so it is hard for me to understand what 3 lessons means. But don't quit boxing because your trainer sucks. You look at pro boxers and I can tell you 90% of them have trainer's that suck, outside of steward, atlas and a few others there is an intense shortage of quality trainers in boxing.

My advice is don't quit, learn from youtube if that is the only gym in the area and do not spar until you have learned enough defence to be able to defend yourself. U can also buy old boxing books, they are very good ie. us naval aviation book on boxing is good, dempsey wrote a book that is also good called championship fighting, the knowledge there is probably better than anything your trainer knows. And while at some point u need to spar, reading the book will give you the tools that you willl know how to defend properly, see an attack coming, be able to get out the way, balance yourself properly. If your coach was any good he would have taught you how
    1. balance
    2. movement
    3. basic defence
    4. how to hit
before he let you in the ring. You don't need a coach to learn this. If your coach wasn't a piece of ****, you should have learned to avoid your opponents right power hand and to stand out of range and to circle right of him. He would have taught you to avoid a right, which is very easy as it is far away.

Don't quit, learn on your own, go back to the gym and get revenge.
