ye got stopped in my 2nd fight in the 2nd round today. my glass jaw got shattered. in the first round i didnt box and brawled with the guy who was quicker handed but did ok, then my trainer says get stuck into him so he might of seen my opponent hurt. and i didnt get inside cleverly and walked into a right hand, took a knee, got up quite fast instead of defending i tried attacking again atsch:!: and got dropped once more got up but with shakey legs, the ref called it off it was a fair stoppage. now need alot to work on mainly defense!!
Hey, I applaud you just for getting in the ring------and do an encore for you for coming to this site to tell how you got beat in your fight. No false bravado, just an honest assessment on how you did and what you did wrong. Now that you recognize your mistakes, you know what to work on and hopefully your coach will guide you in the right direction. I appreciate your humility and honesty. I'm thinking not many folks would come on here and admit defeat. Good luck in the future.
Good effort man, you'll do better next time. Get on that slip rope so you can get in range without walking into anything :good
well done for trying ,,,take couple of days to think about the attack & defense problems you had ,,if you enjoyed the hole experience of the fight game then you can only get better I'm hoping your coach will know what you need to work on back at the gym I'm sure you will do better next time GOOD LUCK
I got stopped the other week, first time i've been stopped properly in 60 fights. Thats boxing- anyone can walk onto a silly punch. :good
You've got more balls than the vast majority of armchair first ballot HOF's on here mate. Ton of respect to you for laying it bare.:good Fair play to you as well BB. But if you're starting to lose motivation after a good run, there's a film I can recommend that will get you fired up... A little British number with Paddy Considine.:yep:good
I give credit to anyone who climbs up the three steps and thru the ropes! you'll get em next time. I think of my defeats as lessons rather than losses. And i am a very wise man lol
