    i was there at the peacock gym. no1 can ever claim floyd is not a draw the guy is an icon. he came to da hood, east london and got MAD LOVE!
    it was mad, he's smaller in real life than i thought he'd be lol. today was crazy.
    just thought id share

    yea man. it was nuts, the atmosphere was crazy. you dont understand how much he is loved over here. **** wot they try show on tv about ricky hattons fans. they aint even boxing fans most of dem r football hooligans who dont even follow the sport thats y they sing their song while hatton is gettin da **** beat out of him. THE REAL man dem kno wot time it is. ricky hatton never comes to da hood, the ethnic minorities.

    Yeah, I never got the "working man blue-collar hero" mess; I couldn't see him or his mates pulling a factory shift. Is that the district that never got bombed in WWII? The only British exchange students and/or Army Brats I got on with complained about that a lot. Much much cooler, funny and competent than the other Local National kids were.

    yea man. im still suprised about how loved this guy was. it truly is the media that r trying to portray him as the bad guy (it sells, so it looks like a good strategy). looking on these forums i was starting to think he had NO fans but for him to come half way across the world and get the turnout and reception he got was something else.
