I always thought this guy was just a talker and full of it. I thought he was trying to get publicity when he first called out GGG, and then thought it was bold but stupid for him to actually fight GGG. Now he wants no tuneups and actually wants to fight Errol, who is a high risk, low reward fight. Regardless of whether he wins the fight, I am definitely a fan of his... and dude has a BEARD. Put those rumours to bed for sure. Looking forward to him and Spence as I am a fan of both.
I would love for him to win and fight the winner of Thurman/Garcia. Well, I think the winner of Thurman/Garcia has to fight a mando first but the organization may favor a unification fight over that. What is the guy that beat Mosely doing anyway? Has he had a fight since then?
Let's see if the fight actually happens first. Hearn announched fights tend not to happen, that's how Brook's fight against Golovkin came to light too (remember that it used to be GGG vs Eubank Jr?). But I do think Kell himself has enough cojones to make it.
I've been saying all along, Spence's side WANT Brook to vacate. If Brook is standing firm, don't be suprised if Spence is sent another route by Haymon. If people are so convinced that Spence goes through with it, name a time when a Haymon superstar has taken such a big risk for 25%
Garcia vs Khan is one. Spence is not a star like a Broner or something so he needs the exposure bad. Plus he can really fight unlike the guy I named, I truly believe that Spence has no reason to duck anybody at 147 because he is the real beast. The kid is country strong and Brook can always say that GGG took his fighting spirit.
