How did you see it? Did Klitschko not lean over Povetkins back for all 12 rounds of the fight?

Don't think you can really say something like this. If he was penalised a point, then surely he'd have stopped doing it. The fact that the referee didn't warn him, isn't Wlad's fault. Saying Wlad deserved to be disqualified if very extreme, sure, he deserved a punishment, but I highly doubt he'd have done the exact same thing if he was explicitly told that if he kept doing it he'd be disqualified.

The best you could argue is that Wlad deserved a deduction. Which I definitely agree with.

    Benny Bass?

Although I do agree. I'm just trying to play Devil's advocate. Usyk is number two IMO, and he's not even that close.

Beating him will not be remembered as an achievement because a. Povetkin was never world champion and b. Has never defeated a great fighter. Those are inescapable facts

The reason povetkin wasnt a world champ because Klitchko was there. And for 10years lol. terrible logic.

In 2017 Klitschko fought Joshua losing in the 11th round after knocking Joshua down in the 6th in what Ring Magazine called the fight of the year.

Klitschko was in great shape, was 14 years older than Joshua and came to fight, Joshua didn't have to look for him and Wlad went out on his shield.

Contrast that to the McGregor/Mayweather fight in 2017 where McGregor was gassed after four rounds even though he's 11 years younger than Mayweather.

So props to Wlad for a great career!

One of his best performances was that left hook destruction of Kubrat Pulev.

Another fact is Povetkins qualities are or at the very least world class

Name me a great fighter other than the Klitch era during Sascha prime he could have faced and potentially beaten?

And some would disbute the World champ comment

Personally i agree but some class him as a former belt holder

Complete fact. . Pabon did everything to help Wlad and did nothing at all to help Povetkin , who was being fouled constantly.
. Thats not speculation , that is exactly what happened , and its not because he forgot how to do his job , its because he was hired by the A side.. Same as Cortez in Mayweather vs Hatton.
A siders have favourable judges , they also have favourable bought and paid for refs.
Miles Lane would have handed Wlad a DQ loss for that performance after 4 rounds. Fact.
