Say what you will about Hopkins. That he's boring, he cheats, he's a racist, he's an ex-con, etc but one thing you CAN'T say about the guy, not matter how much you dislike him, is that he dodged or ducked anyone. The guy is a predator and is willing to fight anyone.

 

Without doubt. That video truely shows how good Hopkins was in his prime, and his clinic against Trinidad was a beautiful thing to watch. People can say how undersized Trinidad was now, but he was a heavy favourite going into the fight. Bernard is a man who truely deserves more respect, and he'll get it once he beats Pavlik. :good

 

The first part of the sentence was 100% spot on. The rest I can't agree with, I just cannot stand to watch him fight. It is HORRIBLE.

 

I will add to this list his 20+ title defenses. The fact is that B-Hop never ducked anyone. I really appreciate a fighter who has balls like him. I hate him because he beat Tito but what da hell, he is a much superior fighter. :good

 

All the people who think Hopkins always fought the way he fights now should view that video. In his prime he combined workrate, technique, punching power and accuracy better than just about everyone.
