i thought he would get ktfo early! he hung in there and came to fight! can't take anything away from stevenson either, i know a lot of people on here want to see him fail but he overcame adversity in there tonight and showed some heart too!! this fight does show that stevenson is vulnerable, i think kovalev vs stevenson would still be 50/50 but after tonight i think hopkins just might take stevenson to school! all around good fight and it did shock me that it went all 12.
Agreed, didn't give him a hope in hell of getting to the judges, but fair play to the chap. Great heart to hang in there and take all those body shots. Stevenson gassed but at least he's got the rounds now, although I make him rank outsider against Hopkins. Great fight, glad I stayed up for it
Fonfara's a bum- had a horrible defense against the body shots Had he protected his body he would have taken Stevenson out Dumb
Fonfara is not a good fighter, I did not think he would get past the 1st round, but he surprised everyone. Hell, he almost knocked Stevenson out...............no wonder Stevenson ducked Kovalev. Fonfara did show tons of heart though, I have to respect him and he has shown improvement since the last time I saw him fight, he is still young.............
