Good, a nice wee fight to look forward to:D But appointing Gary as his strength and fitness coach, since when was Gary a strength and fitness coach, did I miss something.

Long time no see TD my good man:good

Must just be an old pals act, cos Gary Young, is, erm, how can I say this... aah I will use Ricky Hattons phrase when describing Junior Witter.

Gary Young is a boil on the arse of scottish boxing, & the quicker he disappears over the horizon the better:deal

Nothing personal against the guy, but I just dont like him after the way he acted at the Pavilion.
hmm, I suppose that is a bit personal, but never mind! Its a boxing forum after all FFS!

Man, I dig some BIG holes for myself here, but I cant help it. I just have to be truthful. No wonder Im ESB brit forums answer to the littlest Hobo.

Dunky, rein it in a bit, old chap! Gary and Craig are old friends from the amateurs and Gary stayed with Sally and Craig when he was over in LA.
He is a qualified fitness trainer and Craig rates him pretty highly. Gary has kindly volunteered his services to help Craig and Craig is enjoying the high quality sessions.

I aint got anything against Gary Young, he may have done some sort of fitness course, probably a weekend number or a couple of months or something similar, but that dont make you a strength and conditioner, does it?! Thats a bit like saying my missus is a physiotherapy cause she strokes my boner from time to time.
But if its a case of Gary is helping him out when he is here, fine, but come on dont call him a strength and conditioner, thats an insult to real ones

Look. Im still raging with him for his attitude after that McMillan fight, he got the ears boxed off him at the pavilion but because he had the lions share of the fans there, the shitbag ref gave Young a gift. Young struts about the ring after it acting like he had won easy, face twisted with rage & ego, acting the **** really.
He knew he got a gift, & then started acting like billy big bollocks in the weeks after the fight, with outrageous quotes like "McMillan needs to earn the right to fight me again":admin

What the ****??? He got a gift, and instead of giving Young McMillan the reamatch AND a fight the scottish public wants to see? He acts like a diva, struts over to Denmark & gets his ass handed to him inside of a round.
Gary Young acted like a right twat in the aftermath of his gift win, & I dont care if he reads the forums or what boxers hes pals with. At the end of the day McMillan deserved better than the way Gary Young treated him, although it backfired in the end.

Maybe I was a bit harsh calling the guy a 'boil on the arse" of scottish boxing, but I was there that night, & the decision & Youngs antics right after the fight & since then have left a VERY bitter taste in this proud scotsmans mouth.

So if your reading Gary, sorry for calling you names, but theres no smoke without fire.

What's the drum on Martin Murray boys? Peter Mitrevski is heading over your way to face him for the Commonwealth title. I notice Murray has never been beyond 8 rounds. Interesting match up.

Martin Murray has opponent lined up at last in Peter Mitrevski Jnr

AUSSIE Peter Mitrevski Jnr is the name in the frame to face Martin Murray for the Commonwealth middleweight title early next month.

Unbeaten St Helens puncher Murray hopes to finally fight for the vacant domestic belt at the Bolton Arena on Friday, July 16, on a bill topped by European welter champion Matthew Hatton.

Murray, 19-0, was scheduled to contest the belt in May but an array of opponents pulled out leaving his title aspirations temporarily on hold.

However, promoter Ricky Hatton promised to get the fight back on soon and has backed up his words with the chief support slot in Bolton, part of Sky Sports’ Friday Night Fights schedule.

Thirty-year-old Sydneysider Mitrevski, meanwhile, boasts an experienced 29-fight record.

He made his pro debut way back in December 1997, but toyed around with his career until 2004 when he eventually reached championship class.

While former ABA champion Murray’s only current professional achievement remains the Prizefighter middleweights title he won in November 2008, Mitrevski has featured in eight title fights.

He’s held three versions of Asian and Pan Pacific middleweight and super-middle titles including a fourth round TKO win in December which landed him the IBF version of the belt.

Despite six career defeats he’s now undefeated in 18 months and stopped four of his last five.
