Just read at fightnews.com Lovemore is taking on Saul Alvarez in Mexico in December. Should be a pretty damn good fight with Lovemore's work rate and the Mexican rangas willingness to exchange. Really hope mainevent or someone gets on board to show this one.
so do i.seen Alvarez v Cotto's brother and Baldomir.should be good.props to N'dou for taking this.:thumbsup
Alvarez certainly is flavour of the month after his demolition of Baldomir. Definitely big props for N'dou.
I'd say Lovemore is chasing the $$$ whilst he's a champ of some sort, he's only got a few years to go at best.
Would seem the logical thing to do - and would be a very large scalp for Lovemore if he could knock of Alverez!
So is this one of those situations where I should support the Aussie? Cause I've really grown to like Alvarez and wanna see him go all the way to the top........
lovemore is up against a young undefeated mexican that possesses a brutal combination.... a brutal combination of red hair fair skin and freckles.
This will be a great test of Lovemore's famous chin. Carlos Baldomir quote after fighting Alvarez last month. "It's true that he hits hard. He hits really hard." "His power really surprised me. This kid is the real deal. And he's going to be a champion. No one has hit me like he hit me before. He knocked me out me and nobody (except one man) has ever knocked me out."
He certainly does have balls the size of the titanic, however I cannot possibly see how Lovemore thinks he will even be competitive in this fight. This definitely will be a great test of his "granite" chin. I have always found it bizarre, that for a guy who has never been stopped in over 60 fights, how does a guy get dropped by the feather fisted Malignaggi???
