Well, I've seen on many forums people posting that the Gracies only recieve 10th degree black belts and from what i read this true, While the rest receive 9th. But i was wondering, Do the Gracies hold back universally what they teach? I'm speaking of, Do they teach all their Jiu-jitsu knowledge when it comes to techniques and how to apply them, Or do they teach alot but hold back...
I see no evidence that the Gracies are holding back any information that would be useful in an actual fight.
I doubt they would hold anything back. At blackbelt you basically know everything despite the degree you are, hell you've pretty much mastered the art at brown and from then on it's just a matter of time and dedication before black and higher degrees of black.
