Agreed, if that is the case you might as well put Ricardo Mayorga in as well. Having Gatti (RIP) in has set the bar pretty low for HOF standards. As exciting as he was he never had any real meaningful wins on his resume, unless if you count Ruelas, Ward, and Dorin as solid wins. Corrales and Izzy Vazquez are 2 fighters who were just as exciting as Gatti and are more deserving to be in the HOF IMO.
Gatti had just died in a well publicized suicide turned conspiracy theorist circle jerk, which likely infuenced the voting.
I said in a previous thread that Corrales should be in. Chico was every bit as exciting as Gatti, and a much better fighter.
