you do know he legitimately got dropped by Gorres, was on ***** street for sec or 2 and clearly lost a good amount of rounds(5). jus sayin you may want to rethink that +
yes i saw the fight, which is why i corrected you of it but hey if you think he did an A+ job then I wish you were my Poli.Sci instructor this semester
My 3 favorite fighters right now are malignaggi, williams and Dawson. I'll do Paulie. 3 fights in 2008. 2 of them successful IBF title defenses. One fight against ngoudjo which was very close. ngoudjo is a very tough cookie and I fancy he is the next IBF champ as he will easily defeat urango. I see this as a quality win against one of the best 140lbers. It was a close fight nonethless. Second fight was against Ndou who he already destroyed. Paulie wasnt up for this fight and performed below par but still got the win. Of course the Hatton fight was a disgrace. I am not sure why paulie has changed his style so much from a fluid, moving boxer to a jab and grab style this year. It was very disappointing. I see his skills eroding, he doesnt even throw his right hand. His hands now seem too brittle to let loose. Overall a C- year.
Fighter: Paulie Malignaggi Record: 2-1(tko11) Good news: Retained his title despite a few set backs in each fight. Proved to be a contender for any top fighter when his game is on. Dropped the "out to get me" mentality when he got what some thought to be a gift to N'goudjo. Bad news: Failed to execute on the elite stage again. This is such a bad thing because while the average fighter would be content having a long reigning championship in a weight class. Paulie wants to be HOF bound... If everytime he steps up to fight a legend-making fighter he loses, this will obviously not happen. He is his own worst enemy. Final Grade: C- P.S. I still say that if his hand and head are in the right place, he beats Hatton. (Woulda... coulda... shoulda... right? ) Hopefully- for me - Paulie can rally in 09 to at least regain a belt (Probable) and perhaps get a rematch with Hatton (not as likely) or some other legend maker.... Pac perhaps (less likely even than Hatton)

Hearns has not fought in 2 years. My favorite active fighter? Do not have one, although I do respect Hopkins. He sure walks it like he talks it.
Wlad A- 3-0 2 kos. Fought 2 southpaws and we know that he hates southpaws, so its good to see him fighting a fighter whith whom he is not confortable fighting with. Stayed active, thats always a plus sign. Bad side: became more unentertaining in his last fight, specially in Ibrabimovs. Vitaliy A Comes back after 4 years of layoff and beats Sam Peter. Not bad at all. Has to stay more active.
Pavlik/Tayor II; KP fought a much better version of Taylor than he did in the first fight. Went 12 rounds for the first time. Pulled out a VERY CLEAR unanimous decision, 116-112. Gets an "A" for that performance. Pavlik/Lockett; Pav blew out an overmatched mandatory in 3 rounds. He looked good, and I do not recall ever seeing a fighter take a knee 3 times in 3 rounds! Can't justify higher than a "C" for this one because Lockett was poor competition. Pavlik/Hopkins: Terrible performance, but he made the distance and never went down. He gets a "D" for that one. Averages out to a "B" but I have to deduct something for being to hard headed to post pone the BHop fght, and fighting him while sick and injured. Final grade; C+
I give my favourite fighter a grade 0/10 since he never fought once but is planning a return next year. Morales, not Floyd.
