people always talk about fighters who had a granite chin or fighters with a glass chin.

but, does a strong chin usually mean a strong body that can take a beating and last the distance as well? e.g. ali is rightly thought of as having a great chin, and i've heard mention that he has one of the toughest bodies of all time (frazier fights obviously show this).
on the flip side, tommy hearns is famous for a weak chin, and you always hear mention of him running out of legs in his fights.

are there fighters where the above rule doesn't apply? weak chin but strong body and vice versa?
