:nono He was put on the canvas by Zab Judah who couldn't knock Khan down with his best Sunday punch. Mayweather has no chin. NONE
Journeyman Zab dropped the glass chinned joker. Imagine what a chocolate browny from The Special One would do to that repugnant egg shell mandible.. yikes:yikes
Golovkin over 400 fights and never been on the Canvas....Love Him or Hate Him he has a chin of Steel.!!!
Probably much of that can be contributed to his great defence and his risk aversion. When he has been caught cleanly he has absorbed the shot well enough but he has not been hit enough for us to claim he has a granite chin.
Eubank had a granite chin, took Benn's best shots, went up and fought a huge one punch hitter in Thompson and took it all, was only stopped because his eye had swollen shut. Froch, never seen anyone take repeated flush power shots like Froch did in the 6th round vs Groves and keep punching, any normal person would have at least tried to protect themselves, but he just tried to wade through it all. Wayne McCollough, Hamed and Morales couldn't put a dent in him. Iron chin for sure, he ate a lot of punches in his career and only showed any vulnerability at the end of his career when well past his best. Mavrovic, ate huge shots off Lewis and didn't seem all that fazed. Lewis was teeing off on his chin at some points of their fight and he still kept coming. Only other fighter I've seen take Lewis' punches with so little effect was Mercer.
Froch is worth a mention. Dropped by Taylor and Groves yes, but has proven to be very durable in the past. He also recovers very quickly.
