does any1 own any everlast or grant comp gloves and just use them for training? what is so good about grant, i no the quality of the leather is durable but anything else?
I can tell you right now the amateur competition gloves they had at Ringside this week were the worst gloves I've ever worn! Total garbage. The velcro is on the outside with no elastic to cover it, I'm completely scratched up all over my neck, shoulders and arms. The wrists aren't elastic, they are just like those cheap everlast training gloves so even though they were as tight as they would go, they were still loose. Sooo, I guess what I'm saying is that I didn't like them. (sorry to rant)
I see, a few of my freinds competed at Ringside as well and they said the same thing. All these people coming to a supposed world class tournament and have poor quality gloves for some of the fighters. Have you ever worn Amber brand gloves? the laces will get you back in the face, neck, eyes all that.
