Pretty much sums it up for me. Boxing fans can often be the sports worst enemy.

I don't know what to say really.

The majority of fights on the forum are scored well. There are always a minority of odd cards, but it's a minority.

Now, here's a fight, the world's most popular fighter, beloved by more boxing fans than anyone since Leonard and all of a sudden, "fans can often be the sport's worst enemy" and "most individuals that make these accusations should educate themselves", and "most people do not take the time to keep score" and "the guilty parties are not scoring round by round."

What the ****? Most people think the world's most LOVED fighter lost a fight. Now the fans are ****.

The fans are great. The judges were ****. About two-thirds of people pick Pac. ZERO judges picked Marquez. Something wrong.

    With the fans, apparently.

Why is everyone so firmly against the most popular fighter in the fight game?

Jealousy, because they're Mexican, because they're stupid, because they don't understand fighting, because anything but Marquez clearly won the fight.

You've obviously been around this board a long time man. I don't know what other sports you follow, but in my experience boxing fans have the most ridiculously extreme opinions and often the most negative dispositions.

You watch enough boxing, so I'll point to Post #2 as an example of a robbery. When the entire boxing world cries "robbery!" on a close fight, it makes me lose a lot of faith in boxing fans. At least the ones online anyway.

yes and the CLEAR winner of a CLOSE fight was MANNY (6-5 rounds with 1 draw, 115-114)

    **** drinker: 0-2-1

    manny: 2-0-1

^ These idiots just can't be helped.

No worries, the vast majority of the fans know who won.

We now also realize (if we didn't before) just how corrupt the commentators, compubox, and even ESPN can be. For me, personally, this was a bit of a revelation.

It's also now clear that Freddy Roach is a lying sack of pig entrails. Funny, I used to actually respect the guy.
