    Excellent idea! Not only for the boxing but also his long Hollywood career as the typecast punchy prizefighter.

    Agree with the Dick Tiger pick. There IS a bio out there on him, but it's a difficult read. Just doesn't flow very easily.

    Harada has multiple books in Japanese. I own them, signed.

    Exactly...took me a few tries to actually read it cover to cover. Didn't really enjoy it. Same author did a bio on Frankie Depaula and I just haven't had it in me yet to finish the book. Same with Giardello book

    There’s two books on Freddie Welsh. One of them was really good, written by Andrew Gallimore. Harada has books in Japanese only. A Tommy Ryan book is supposed to be out, this year I think.

    Yes. You can find it on Amazon the author is called James Curl.

    Yeah, not sure how ‘famous’ he is by today’s standards to move books, but an interesting character in a sport full of characters. I’d buy this one in a minute.

    There are three books on Jim Driscoll and Clay Moyle wrote one on Billy Miske.
