    But in late 82 as an eight year old, Duran was that gone, even I would of been pick-em!

    Duran was in the midst of his partying days and Laing got him at a good time maybe, but credit where credit's due he beat a legend in the State's and it was Ring magazines upset of the year, so he qualifies for my thread.


    Could also be a good time for Jennings tonight Let's see if Cotto is gonna bounce back or be another victim of Great British Upset's.:D

    I hope my cynicism is negative, but remember before giving The Ring any credit, remember we are talking about the magazine that helped organize the United States Championship!!!!
