In Vegas, LHWs will be on the scene. On the undercard of Kovalev-Mohammedi, Jean Pascal vs Yunieski Gonalez, Barrera vs Lepikhin and Chilemba vs TBA(would be great to see him against another undefeated prospect). How do you see it going?

Awesome card, I like to see Gvozdyk or Mekhontsev against Chilemba but I doubt that happens.

Those two are a little green for him IMO. Beterbiev vs Chilemba would be a good match up.

I don't think so, Vlasov and Lepikhin just weren't that good, Gvozdyk could easily deal with him, but sure bring on Beterbiev-Chilemba, that would be a great match.

Nice card, at least we have 1 champ at LHW who defends his belts and makes mandatories.

    Wait, huh?

ABC belt mandatories are a good thing?!

I know in an ideal world they are. But in the real world, you support champs who face lesser opposition just because they are mandatories? I'm not even talking specifically about this fight (although it fits to an extent) but in general...

Do you want to go away with mando's completely? Then what's the point of rankings and organizations to begin with?

Most champs have to make 1 mandatory per year, that's not too much to ask.

More often than not these days, mandatory defenses are the worst defenses a long reigning champion will have.

I pretty much put no stock in belts. It's about ranking. Ranking on merit, not ranking knowing the right people and on lining the right pockets.

To agree with and support mandatory challengers would be to agree with and support the rankings that the sanctioning bodies put out. I find that statement to be impossible to disagree with. So I ask again... do you support champions fighting mandatory challengers?

Very good card. It'll be cool to watch 2 promising Cubans.

At first I thought you were talking about the BJ Flores/Shumenov superfight from the Palms. Tens of people will be watching around the world.

I am looking forward to seeing Kovalev again. I don't think Mohammedi is anything special. I expect Kovalev to win within a few rounds.
