He was an Olympic gold medallist. He could be the next superstar of boxing. He might never get beaten. He might be the next Roy Jones or the next Floyd Mayweather. You just don't know. So there's no shame in losing to him. I'm going to hold my head up, proud." Carl Froch And another one: "I'm not going back and sulk and think, 'That's it, it's over, I'm useless.' I'm fighting at the top level. And at the top level fighters get beat. There are fighters over the years who have retired, legends, and they've got two, three, four losses on their records. They're are fighters who have retired unbeaten and people say, 'Yeah, he's all right, he's not bad, but he never really fought anybody.' I've fought the lot of them." Carl Froch
there really is no shame in losing to ward. froch is very respectful and honest. hopefully Khan can learn a thing or 2 from Froch
Froch is going to go down as one of the most honest fighters in the history of the sport. I started out not liking him because he seemed like a smack talker at first, but it turns out he is as genuine a guy as there is. I hope he goes on to win another title.
I became a fan of Froch after this fight, and I was one of his biggest haters prior to it. I was expecting him to come up with some bull**** excuse or try and say he got robbed. He didn't, he took his loss like a man and said to Ward on camera "You beat me fair and square." I can't remember the last time I saw a fighter handle a loss with that much class.
big up froch a real breath of fresh air in the boxing world Helenus and Khan should take a leaf out of his book
Froch My son, u were beaten by Kessler and dirrell before u even got to ward. Ward just utterly blitzed ur slowmo ass. Froch looked like a Charlie Z with a cheeen in that ring.
I'm now an official Froch fan. Very cool quote. I think he has outgrown McCracken. I'd like to see him work with Steward or Cotto's new trainer to maximize his reach and speed.
