We don`t know because he was only backed up by fighters after he ditched Rooney and lost all adaptability.
Hatton was far better than Paz, he would have destroyed his body, Paz was beaten by inferior fighters than Hatton was.
It's hard to say that any great champion had an awful jab. There are some like James Toney who didn't have a great jab, but his was at least serviceable.
I was lending you a little support as I`ve found out a lot guys on this forum can be abusive, no biggie.
Hatton did better against Floyd than Paz would have also Tsyzu would have destroyed Paz. Vinny didn`t beat any good fighters.
Geles and Rosenblatt were unbeaten against lower level fighters and went on to do nothing after losing to Paz, who could not have knocked out Hatton who punched much harder to the body.
I love Fullmer & Hatton, watching them are 2 of my guilty pleasures. But their jabs are less than....well...they are not real good.
It worked for Fullmer to judge distance but as a punch it looked more like a roman/fascist/nazi salute than an actual punch.
Hatton got stopped when he was shot. Paz only had the WBO title at light before it was established like the other 3 major titles that had been around longer only second tier fighters fought for the WBO title during the early 90`s and Paz went on to lose that title to Camacho. Paz was nowhere near a quality middle and probably wouldn`t even break into the Top 10 now so Rosenblatt and anyone beneath him must have been useless. Never even heard of Geles.
