    Which shows just what type of chin Hagler had .. the absolute best Hearns could not dent him ..

    Foster like Hearns was another fighter that completely incapacitated his opponents. His destruction of Dick Tiger , Quarry, and Rendon all 3 considered very good/ great fighters are classic examples of the power he was able to produce with the left hook. All 3 didn't move after he landed. Like someone shot them with a Bazooka. Scary Ko' s

    Has anyone mentioned Bramble against Rosario? Rosario took a guy with a decent chin and destroyed it.

    To be fair Hearns never landed his absolute Sunday best on Hagler. He didn't land those long right hands like he landed on Duran. But your point stands, what a great chin Hagler had.

    Vincent Pettway's KO of Simon Brown fits the bill.

    Brown was stopped a few times subsequently when he was totally shot but until he met Pettway he'd never been stopped in a 13 year career. The shot that ended the fight was brutal and Brown's unconscious reaction of throwing punches while flat on his back was chilling.

    Freddie Welsh was stopped just the once by Benny Leonard in nigh on 170 fights against some outstanding opposition.

    You can add Jack Britton as well. He was stopped just once in an incredible 344 fights!

    It's funny but in the very opening 20 seconds he did , supposedly, crash a right hand into Hagler that Marvin felt .. I have watched the tapes many times and the angle is hard to catch as Hearns back is to camera and Hagler is blocked as well but Tommy does seem to land a nasty shot and Marvin not only feels it but closes quick to the body to regroup .. I think this is it .. look at about :22 on .. love your thoughts JT ..

    It may have been just a "2 count" kd, but Emile Griffith dented Dlck Tiger's chin in the 9th round of their 1966 middleweight title bout...controversial points verdict, but deservedly won by Griffith.

    All three were devastating, but you had to feel especially sorry for Rondon...I've never seen a more scared fight than him in that 2nd round....his eyes betrayed him...he looked like a man being led to the gallows.

    Hi fellas, I reckon Hagler vs Mustafa Hamsho 2 fits the bill.
    I saw that one live on tv n Marvin cracked Hamshos concrete chin with a devastating combination. Hamsho was never the same fighter.
