Great thing about individual opinion, is that it doesn't matter what other people think, so screw you buddy. These are somegreat chins I can think of, off the top of my head.

Bernard Hopkins : I've never even seen Bernard Hopkins blink when he's hit, let alone show any signs of being any way startled. Been in with some destructive punchers as well.

Oscar de la Hoya: Walked through some of the biggest punchers in the history of the 147 division for years. First stopped in 2004, 12 years after his debut, at his 6th weight division. And that was a freak body shot. Forget Pacquiao - all old fighters tend to take beatings when they can't pull the trigger in return any more.

Evander Holyfield - probably one of the greatest chins in the history of the sport. Foreman, Tyson, Bowe, Lewis and never even dropped.

Marvin Hagler - ditto. Hagler went through a series of fights with Hearns, Mugabi, Leonard and Duran, which made it pretty clear that there probably wasn't a fighter in the history of the sport at 160 who could even hurt him.

Monzon - as above. Was unmoved by any puncher. Didn't matter.

Chris Eubank - if walking through some of the biggest punchers of your, or any era, wasn't good enough, then moving up 3 divisions to Cruiserweight, and walking through Carl Thompson, who weighed in at 197 pounds, and fought at 209, probably sealed it.

Naseem Hamed - may sound strange, but Hamed got knocked down quite a few times, but never seemed even remotely bothered by it. A lot of it was the way he fought, and balance issues. I didn't think there was a featherweight around who could stop him. Even when he was on the slide.

Jake La Motta- probably the most famous chin in boxing. Well documented.

Ali - ditto. Floored plenty of times, but never stopped until he was completely shot. And his resume probably includes 3-4 of the top 50 punchers of all time.

Floyd Mayweather - don't care what you say about why it's happened, but Floyd's never even been floored over 5 divisions. A lot of the reason was shown against Mosely. Probably two of the sweetest shots in Shane's (probably the biggest punching welterweight of Floyd's era) career, and he couldn't even get the pretty boy off his feet.

Who makes it on to your list?

JMM- been floored a good few times but always got up and never looked properly hurt

adamek- takes heavy shots in nearly all his fights gets on with it

holyfield and hagler- i agree with the opening statement on these 2 ridiculously good chins

Bowe floored him once in their first bout (round 11) and twice in their second (the second flooring being the stoppage).

    Nevertheless a great chin

He got put down in his first fight with Mercado and was hurt. Twice if I remember correctly.

    Never been dropped? Bowe?

Outstanding chin, but to say there wasn't a fighter in history at 160 who couldn't hurt him may be pushing it. Maybe nobody would put him down, but I think if the likes of Ketchel and Fitzsimmons landed their respective best shots on Hagler at the weight, I think he'd definately be hurt.

Good chin, I wouldn't say he had a great one. It was largely untested for the most part.

He was down against Judah, though it was called a slip. A definately knockdown though, even coming from a Mayweather fan.

Think Mayweathers more to do with avoiding being hit, or at least hit flush. Same with Hamed to a degree.
Collins is a good shout, that lad could take a punch.

    Foreman - in his forties.

Tyson - when he was out of prison and half the boxer he used to be.

Lewis and Bowe - hardly elite KO punchers like the other two.

Lewis is one of the hardest punchers in heavyweight history. Bowe can certainly bang himself.

Ask Ruddock, Morrison, Bruno, Grant, Tyson, Vitali, Briggs and countless others if Lewis was a big puncher or not.Infact ignore them and just ask Golota.

    Bowe was hardly paitter-pat either.

Steve Collins is a good shout...his name is rarely brought up in these types of threads.

Hopkins has been hurt a couple times, great chin though. He was hurt early in a bout with a hard hitter, then came back to knock him out I think...I can't remember who he was facing though...
